ボウイの70回目の誕生日となる筈だった今日2017年1月8日に発表されたEPに Lazarus と共に収録されている。

No Plan
とは言え、ボウイには半世紀にわたって常に plan があり、それが即ち art だった。
art の原義は「わざ」。
漠たるイメージの付いた漢語の「芸術」よりも和語の「たくみ」の方がその訳語にはふさわしい。
artificial(人工的)という語にはその原義の名残が多分にある。

This is not quite yet　まだ終わってはいない
これは先人のこの言葉に同義だろうか。
Art is long, life is short.

歌声を聴くたびにボウイは目の前に蘇生する。
