シンプルながら象徴的なこのギターリックはやっぱあった方がいいなあ。
作者の弁
That’s where me and my wife became me and my wife. That’s what it’s about. Yeah, I was ‘between the eyes of love.’ It’s a lovely island if ever you’re in Europe.
ティーンエイジからの恋人 Joan Lesley と夫婦になった地イビサ島での思い出が本作の基となっている。何とロマンチックな！
ただ「僕は between the eyes of love だった」と言うが、さてどう訳したものか…
