裏事情をわざわざ歌っちゃう歌。この身も蓋もない所に作者の異能が発揮されている。軽快な曲調は滑稽さを増長。
ただその裏には職業音楽家としての葛藤や開き直りが垣間見えもする… てのは考え過ぎ？
こーゆーのは日本語の歌でやろうとすると中々恰好が付かない気がする。
3分5秒にまで短くされた件は自曲 Piano Man (のプロモシングル)への言及。
これはレーベルへの(マジな)当て付け？
本作を捧げられた「エンターテイナー」トランプ。
歌い手の主眼は I won’t be here in another year の部分？
