それはそうと、ちょっと真面目に語法の話…
different than before
我々は different from と習って来たが、特に米国では than に出くわす方が圧倒的に多い。
更には then となっていたりもするが、これは特に強勢が無い場合これらの音が近い事に起因する混用。
筆者は所謂「言葉の乱れ」には寛容な立場を取る方ですが、この場合の then は行儀良く学んで来た我々がわざわざ使う代物ではありません。
