大統領選キャンペーン時にストーンズの曲を集会で流したドナルドトランプにストーンズは使用中止を要請した。
ところが彼はその要請を完全にシカトして勝利宣言の退場時の曲に You Can’t Always Get What You Want を堂々と使用。

ミックジャガーが冗談めかして言及した大統領就任コンサートへの出演の打診はさすがに無かった様だが、トランプは非難もどこ吹く風とばかりに今度は Heart of Stone をコンサートで流した。

こんな風に昨年から今年にかけて随分とトランプに間接的にカラまれてきたジャガー。
では本作はトランプを、世の混乱の、またはそれを助長した主犯格と断じて遠回しに糾弾するものなのか。
勿論主題は表題に言う通り、自分たちがしっかりしなきゃ、という事なのだろうけど。
